Baywei M7 Multibeam
Baywei M7 compact shallow-water multibeam with integrated GNSS/INS. 256 beams, 400 kHz, swath up to 130°, ping rate 50 Hz. Range >200 m. Roll stabilisation. Bathymetry and sidescan out. Weight 3.5 kg in air (1.2 kg in water). Works with QINSy, HYPACK, BeamworX and SonarWiz.
The M7 is the M4 sonar with tightly coupled GNSS/INS in the head. You mobilise a full survey spread on a small manned boat or USV without a separate motion unit on deck. Heading, typically 0.08° (RTK, 2 m antenna baseline); pitch and roll 0.03°. Acquisition is included.
Typical work: harbours, dredging, coastal survey, lakes and compact autonomous platforms.
